It Started With a Terrible Souvenir.
You know the ones. The fridge magnets that fall off. The keychains that break in your bag. The snow globe you carry through three airports only to leave on a shelf and forget.
We wanted something different. Something you'd actually use every single day — something that quietly said "I've been there" without saying anything at all.
That's how Slipsy was born. A soft, knit cover for your water bottle that carries a landmark from somewhere that moved you. Not a tchotchke. A traveling companion.
02 — The Craft
Knit With Intention.
Every Slipsy cover is a soft, stretchy knit cotton sleeve — the same cozy, hand-knit feel as your favorite socks, designed to slip right over any standard bottle. Ribbed cuff at the top. Closed base at the bottom. Bottle cap always accessible.
The landmarks aren't printed on. They're woven in — fine jacquard-style illustrations built stitch by stitch into the fabric itself. When you hold a Slipsy cover, you can feel the texture of the Eiffel Tower under your fingers. That's intentional.
We worked with artisan knit manufacturers to get the stitch gauge right, the color depth right, and the fit right — because a cover that looks beautiful and falls off is just another bad souvenir.
03 — The Philosophy
Your Bottle Is Your Passport.
A passport is more than an ID. It's a record. Every stamp is a memory — a moment you stepped somewhere new, felt something shift, and carried it home with you. We believe your water bottle can do the same thing.
Slip the Tokyo cover on when you're working from a café and want to remember the morning you stood at the base of Mount Fuji. Reach for the Machu Picchu one on a long training run. Put the NASA cover on when the day needs a little more sky in it.
